Perundungan merupakan masalah yang kerap dialami oleh siswa-siswi. Tiga kriteria suatu perilaku dinyatakan sebagai perundungan, yaitu (1) tindakan agresif yang disengaja, (2) adanya pengulangan, dan (3) ditandai ketidakseimbangan kekuatan. Tindakan agresif yang disengaja mencakup berbagai perilaku agresif, baik verbal (misalnya ejekan), nonverbal (misalnya tatapan yang merendahkan), hingga serangan fisik (misalnya memukul, menendang).
Psikoedukasi adalah salah satu intervensi yang dilakukan untuk mencegah dan mengatasi perundungan. Buku ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai program psikoedukasi AMBU untuk mencegah perundungan.
